Hi, my cars in need of its regular 5000km service, and my regular mechanic who I trust is booked out for another 3 weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone could recommend a shop they trust, theres alot of dodgy people out there, would like to steer clear of them.

Also, my tt soarer is idling, driving and performing just as I bought it, but for the past few weeks there has been an extra noise coming from the bonnet on the right side, sounds vaguely like a vacuum cleaner or a fan out of tune. Its at 89,000 k's so its probably in need of something a bit more than a standard service. For this reason I'd like to hear from anyone who knows a guy decent with soarers. Rather take it there than just some generic shop like Autoleader.

Thanks.

Try Geoff at sebring discount mufflers, hes done a fair bit of work for me and my mates, mainly performance upgrades but he surely can service your car and have a look at any noises etc. Hes located at cronulla avenue of gold coast highway next to bobjane and mermaid suspension.

Yuji Kimura (Kimura Motors) ph 5537 6827 at 211 Brisbane Road Labrador that apparently knows Soarers inside out has the Jap workshop manuals no need for translation (how goods that!)
Worth looking at check him out
