Well after 3 attempts to seal my sump from weeping, i'm getting sick of being under my car covered in oil rather than in it..

I have scraped, cleaned and wiped with thinners each surface every time and still no luck. The oil return looks fine, it seems to be the pan it's self... Same story for the transmission...

I have used permatex ultra grey each time... Is this stuff just useless? or is it me....?

I'm prepared to give it one last crack, but if it doesn't work,i'm giving up and taking it to someone so it's their problem.

Please tell me what i'm doing wrong, it shouldn't be that hard to seal a sump ffs..
