Is it a stock exhaust system?

If so, the exhaust from both manifolds mingles after the cats at the centre resonator and then goes out through the twin pipes to the rear.

That eliminates being able to determine if one bank of cylinders is acting strangely and also eliminates the cats for this particular issue.

If the exhaust system has been modified and is straight through with no balance pipe etc, it could be anything to do with one bank.

You could probably try to feel along the pipes to find out where the temperature change occurs.
