With the stock ECU I don't think there's much you can really do about mixture. It'll be adjusted at low to middle rev range by the O2 sensor.
Also, what speed does it idle at? Sometimes if the ecu's temp sensor is not working properly it can run rich and idle high. This also might cause it to run a bit hotter than normal.
