Just got home from the weekend. I couldn't get my act together at Wakefield on Saturday and was unable to match or better my previous best of 1:09.9. 1:10.2 was my best, although my terminal speed was up 4-8kph down the straight. Unfortunately Circuit Club only timed two of the five sessions on the day, so who knows how I was doing in the other three sessions.

To Wrap up a pretty disappointing weekend, the rear brakes are shot, and the rear spoiler has shat itself. The pads are down to nothing, and the rotors aren't to far away either. This leaves me with a decision to make. Replace the pads and rotors, or try and find a set of supra 2 pot rears to go on the car. I have already decided to buy supra fronts. I might have to miss the next track day so I can afford it. I can't afford to put new brakes in and get supra brakes and do a track day...

On the way home I bumped into Gary Snow and his insane drifter. The cage and fibreglass panels are seriously on my wish list. Now to win lotto...

Further along the highway, the rear spoiler let go. I noticed it was lopsided after seeing Gary, and adjusted it level again. A few hundred k's later it broke both front linkages and flopped over backwards. Glad it did not break off as that would have done some serious damage to any one behind us. One more thing to fix...

The car is in lock down at work so I can focus on other stuff around the house that needs doing. Next weekend I'll look at it with fresh eyes.
