Thanks Ali.

I am really after something that is going to be effective. Most of the net chatter on time attack/supersprint/high speed type forums states that nearly everything commercially available is aesthetic only. This is particularly true of Japanese cars, and for 'universal designs' . It is their version of putting a HSV kit on their V6 commodore.

Andrew, I bought a brand new jigsaw on the way home from work today. Needless to say there is no boot floor in the car any more. The new jigsaw ate that sh!t up. After playing around with the mock up a bit, I think I am going to have to narrow it down by 100mm at the back end. I have it fouling the mufflers and heat shields, as well as the tow hook.

The next question is to decide if I make the whole thing with a shallower taper(laterally), or if I keep the taper at the front the same and make the sides parallel from about half way.

I want to find some more corflute and make a complete one that has parallel sides (about 700mm wide), as I suspect it may be easier to fit with my exhaust the way it is. I will just need little cutouts for the exhaust bends at the front. I guess the effectiveness will suffer as the expansion is less, but it will make fitting blades (if needed) easier in the future.

I found a sheet of ally for $140 down at Cardiff, so it is jobs on!
