Brace that goes from the boot floor/chassi directly up to the boot lid under the area where the wing wing mounts could be fairly quick and easy to do. Add a thin layer of firm rubber and have it just right so when you close the boot it is sitting hard on it.

Might not be the optimal solution but it will transfer the force directly to the chassi and be fairly easy to do.




I have considered this, but it still will not stop the wing from trying to rotate backwards/downwards. I think that would work if the wing were directly over the supports, but mine is swept back considerably. I have seen this done with the support brackets coming through the boot lid and attaching to the wing mounts with pins so it is solidly mounted.
