Spooky is my middle name Ben. The issue with doing this type of thing on the Soarer is that the chassis rails don't sit directly under the tops of the guards as they did on the Celica, so you'd have to make up some type of bracket that joins the two. I'm sure you can handle it.

I was looking at doing the wing the same way you are talking about, with the end plates through slots in the boot sill. We ended up deciding on a centre-mounted wing because, um... Come to think of it, I don't know why we went away from that idea and I don't actually remember what the engineers said. It would have been something technical like "it looks cooler".
