I just had a look- I actually did a 1:34 in the Rx-7, but yeah I feel pretty good. I spent 40 grand on the Rx-7. I've spent about a third of that on this car (including the $3000 trailer)
The track time was unexpected. The car was not really setup for it. The rear was set full hard and the front full soft to try and get it to slide a bit at the motorkhana. I ran the temp gauge over the tyres, and it seems I need to take some camber out of it. The inside edge of the tyres were significantly hotter than the middle and outside (up to 15 degrees variation). Might take some out to look after the tyres on the loooong straight, and therefore gain a bit more caster in the process.
