Got through scrutineering today with absolutely no problems. They are happy with the cage, the steering column mod, and harness arrangement: I made up '3 bar sliders' out of 4mm steel so I could run my harness straight from the harness bar of the roll cage, drastically shortening the shoulder strap length. They didn't even comment on my camera mount, so hopefully I'll have some good video.
I also found my harness does not expire. The E4 rating/designation means it will last forever, according to the scrutineer. I thought they all had a life span.
I am sharing a pit tomorrow. He is a lap sprinter, so we should be OK.
