Hey, I don't hate the bloke! I didn't even get worked up enough to go looking for his pit bay. I was more annoyed about not bettering my own lap time.
Each time we went out I checked the lap times of the guys around me, so I knew who I had to get out of the way for, and how much gap I needed to leave from the guy in front of me to ensure I never caught him. Getting held up was frustrating, but as much my fault as anyones. I should have realised and just got out of it on the first fast lap to open a gap.
It is part and parcel of lapsprints. There is no opportunity to overtake, except on the straight unless you get waived through.
Plus it was the only interesting video I made on the day.
