Replaced the passenger window with lexan today. From a single 2400x1200 sheet I should be able to get both windows, the rear quarters, and the rear windscreen cut out.

The difference between the window(4.3kg) and lexan replacement(1.2kg) is 3.1kg. Removing the window mechanism was another 1.1kg, so each side will end up being a 4.2kg saving.

I am going to see how the lexan goes with the power windows. If I can get them to work fine, I'll keep the power window on the drivers side. Otherwise I need to find another method of getting it up and down.

I ended up putting in three little ally tabs to secure the top of the window on the passenger side after watching the video of the High octane GTR flapping around.

I am looking at removing this side intrusion bar, but don't know how to go about it. It is attached at each end, and silasticed to the outside skin as well.
