Our NAMSC Hidden Valley event for today was cancelled due to lack of numbers, however one of the IP guys hired it for testing and let those who had entered join his session. Hooray for Wayne! So we had a very relaxed test afternoon with only a handful of cars and drifters in 20 minute sessions.
I ended up using petrol filter foam from the rubber place to make my own filter element. It must have worked because as the afternoon progressed making a change, doing 3 laps, making another change and so on I beat my PB again and again.
I am now firmly in the 1:24 bracket, with a new PB of 1:24.2, nearly a whole second faster. What makes this even better is the track is a construction site so there is dust and crap everywhere. It was kinda slippery to start with...
