I was looking at that yesterday. I think I will see how it goes. I used a windscreen adhesive along with flanged rivets (and load spreading washers) to secure it. Due to the curve there is little flex in the window just by pressing on it. I have had the door and side 'glass' in for two test events now and there has been no noticeable issues (the drivers side is still electric so is only held in by the rails and the rubber lip along the top of the door).

The rear screen is a much larger surface area, but plenty of drag cars seem to make it work with out bracing and they are hitting higher speeds.

If I have to fit the bracing I will, but it will be a pain in the arse as I'll have to cut the sealant again and start from scratch.

*edit*
I just realised I never followed up saturdays efforts. I have the rear screen in, the back seat area de-wired, de-bracketed and painted. I just need to get the boot and rear wing back on the car. Then I'll get it down to the weighbridge to see where I stand.
