Phil, it was a good chance to do some back to back testing, and I have to say I was expecting it to make a small difference but not 2 seconds. Going to these test days has been an eye opener. I gained a second from making small adjustments and testing them with out the distraction of competition, or the worry that I only have 5 laps and then another category comes out like on a race weekend.
The marshal said watching the laps without the wing it was obvious the car balance was all wrong. The areas where the car characteristicalLy sat flat and drove smooth the tail was everywhere and I was obviously getting out of the throttle through the sweeper out of the hair pin (Normally flat in third)
