Mate, they want a secondary restraint on my gopro camera mount so it cant hit me in the head...even when it is mounted to my helmet!

Apparently the camera mount developed by a team of engineers and technicians specifically for use in race cars/motorbikes/parachuting/extreme sports in accordance with various regulators and governing bodies can be improved on by a couple of old blokes in a tin shed in rural SA. You need to drill a hole in said purpose designed case, weakening the structure, and put a loop of shiny steel wire rope (whose breaking strength does not need to be measured or quantified) through the hole and secure this to some other part of the mount and then suddenly all is good.

It's funny, they don't even check to see if you have brakes. Or suspension judging by the drag car trying to turn laps last time I was there.

Makes you wish these same old blokes would design the national broadband network. The whole system would cost about the same as a couple of beers and be finalised in an afternoon.
