Well, after some fiddling around with a hose and some wedges, the front bar and spoiler assembly came away from the mould.

The bar has some rough edges, especially in the area I was concerned about. I still need to clean the clay etc from the splitter join. There are some modifications to the mould I want to make, like tidying up the lower flange, and making a flanged area around the intercooler opening to stiffen up this area. This bar was always going to be suck and see. The next bar to come out should be much better as I have learnt a few things.

I'll spend the next few nights coming up with a mounting arrangement, and buy some more gelcoat and PVA on Friday and continue work on the undertray to match the spoiler.
