I'd say the turbos were disintegrating due to poor filtration, that is due to dirt and crap hitting the blades at 60-odd-thousand rpm.
If they were simply falling apart due to age etc they would have failed spectacularly, I reckon. They have done half the Km of the ones in the red car.
I took the car down to Morpowa today and spoke to the guy who will be doing the wiring. We have decided to build a new loom, rather than modify/plug into the factory loom. So now I am chasing some new coil plug connectors or a decent quality coil plug loom.
