Similar, but not quite. I want the actual flat floor to increase in distance from the ground as you move to the rear of the car. Sort of like a large but gentle diffuser. The skirt will extend down past the flat floor much like they do in NASCAR, except mine will have a more boxy shape to meet up with the stock body width.
Yes, I have been reading race car aero articles about the banned ground effects days in F1 etc.
The current setup is close, but the Vertex side skirts (or whatever they are) have a curve downwards at the rear end which is messing with my chi. I am working on a 'cut and shut' solution just to get it on the track to see what it goes like. Won't be pretty. Much like the rest of the car...
