So Tire rack came through with the Toyo R888s in less than a week. Cost me $820 for a pair of 275/40/17 and a pair of 255/40/17, plus $420 in shipping. Much cheaper than buying here. Shipping was expensive, but if you are in a hurry for something not on the local shelf, then they are probably faster than interstate options as well.
When I get the chance I will get them fitted to the Desmonds and then see how much if any body work needs to be done. The rear guards will be carbon regardless, as I need to get rid of the banged up rear quarter. It has been on there since I bought the car and it is time for it to go.
