G'day James. I wish I had the time and necessary skills to guarantee a perfect part in a timely fashion. It is a moot point as all the moulds I have made have already been swapped for a bonnet moulding. And Bourbon.

The only problem with selling bonnets (etc.) is that the Facebook generation expect it to be absolutely perfect, but cheaper than they can get a poorly made, cheap Chinese piece of crap on line.

Everyone of my parts so far has had some small imperfection, from numerous pin holes, to small areas where the resin simply did not flow through all three layers. It still cost me about $100 per meter to lay up the part. (My bonnet will end up with 10m of carbon in it because I refuse to do a couple of 'bulk' layers of fibreglass in between two layers of carbon. So it will cost me $1000 to make if I had to by all the materials for the job in one hit.)

I have in the past, and will continue to do favours for my friends. There is an understanding that you are doing your best, and are helping them out.

If I was to make a bonnet for someone off a forum, it would be money up front, and you get what you are given. End of story. Unfortunately, the moment someone doesn't get $1000 of value for their $100 outlay they will slander you all over the internet.

Having said that, if you want a bonnet and can handle my terms then let me know.
