You guys are hilarious. I am kind of fond of the screwdrivers.

I have fitted the bonnet pin setup from the steel bonnet for the time being, and have hedged my bets by ordering both the aero style and some new black 'Sparco' bonnet catches. The main issue I see with the aero style, is due to the size of the hole you have to cut to fit them, once they are in you are stuck with them.

You have the aero catches on yours don't you Aaron? I will have a look at them when they turn up. Aero wise they will be significantly better than the conventional style. I plan to run four pins, not the two I have now just to make sure the bonnet is good and secured.

I will be ditching the steel bonnet I think. I don't really have the motivation of cleaning it up and repainting it to sell it. Might offer it free to local guys if they come take it away.

I still haven't fitted the boot. I am not entirely happy with my wing mounts. I would prefer they went through the rear bumper area direct to the sub-frame, rather than through the boot as they currently are. That means I don't really want to cut slots in a perfectly fine carbon boot. I might look at it in the new year.
