wait whose bourbon am I drinking all in one go? I love bourbon btw... gotta find a well stocked bottle-o :o I hear there's a great one at Parafield /offtopic

SO do I and I have an extreeeemely well stocked bar about 18m from my race car thanks to a few blokes who shall remain nameless, Andrew...

Allan- sounds like you know a heell of a lot more about it than I do. I have no idea why it is or isn't shiny.

Sykes- I am saying that there are no factory wires, computers, or anything in the engine bay. If the Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 is OBD2 compatible, I am not sure what it would be talking to. I am not across all its functionality. Actually I probably know how to use about 2% of its capability to be honest.

Matt- going out to the shed after I have a brew and check here and FB for suggestions. I will dump oil, and work through a list of things I can check at my novice level. I have the day off tomorrow, however there is heaps to do around the house. By the end of the week I will have it back together regardless. I will start it up and record the noise.

I assume if I start/crank it with the valve covers off oil will go everywhere?
