I would never have thought of an Accusump. I have done some reading (online forums) and the opinion is that Accusump is a great bandaid solution, but the best solution is to have the sump modified (additional capacity via wings etc and baffled).

I haven't found any one selling such an item for the 1JZ. Most of the opinions I have received are that the 1J is fine, or that with a new or upgraded oil pump it is fine. I have some video of my oil pressure gauge that clearly shows 1Js suffer oil surge under heavy braking.

An accusump is probably going to set me back around $500 to set up. I'll keep looking into it.

Have you had much experience with them Allan?
