I am considering going to stiffer front springs due to the fact the front splitter looks like someone took to the underside of it with a belt sander. It is clearly bottoming out, and had started to do this at Mallala also. I am assuming the higher friction rated brake pads(Intima Type D), combined with the substantial increase in power have combined to cause or at least highlight this issue.

I believe I have 16kg/mm front springs in at the moment. Ottomoto have both 17k/mm and 18kg/mm springs on their site for $140 plus $35 freight. I am thinking of getting the 18s and seeing how they go.

The intima pads are also on their last legs. I am torn between getting more Intimas, or trying something else. Paul has recommended winmax, which are a great deal more expensive than the Intimas at around $280 for the W6 fronts to suit the JZA80 4 pots.

This weekend I'll get the car back to the garage and give it the once over, drain the engine oil and change the filter etc. And check the pesky gearbox has oil still.
