Where did you get the clutch switch from, and how much was it?
I got it from Toyota and it cost $35. The part number is 88280-33010. As David said, it screws in to the clutch pedal box. You have to remove the neutral start bridge that you would have installed when you did the manual conversion, and using some long wire, run the same terminals that were bridged, up to the switch and then the cruise control will work, and you will need to push the clutch in to start the car.
