2 screws for the surround? What happened to the rest of them? There are two screws for the gear selector, then there are two screws under the centre cup holder, and from memory 4 or maybe even 6 more under the selector gate! (which just un-clips and has a couple of plugs on it) Then you are good to remove the surround, which also has a couple of plugs on it.

Still a very quick job requiring only two screwdrivers. I have to say its much better than drilling holes in the poor blanking cup thing, as you never know you might want to put it back in some day and it'll have holes in it!
