Hi Guys,

Just bought a fuel filter for my v8 soarer this weekend, & got underneath the car to change it- but the nuts appear to be sized...!!

one side is ok, the nut comes of the fuel filter but the other side does not not - i dont want to force it and break it..!

So i have a few questions;

1 = What are the easiest method's to get the fuel filter off...?

2 = Is it possible to relocate the fuel filter say to the engine bay, and modify the fittings to make it heaps easier to change? (would prefer that)

3 = leave the fuel filter in the original location & change the filter fittings & add fuel rubber hose sections leading to a generic plastic fuel filter..?

I did some research & theres not really much on the topic of fuel filters except how to change them -

So id like to hear if anyone has encountered this situation & how they fixed it..!

Cheers,

H
