vihn, i can see your point, but they only would have scrubbed if you were running close to zero camber

from all my testing, 2.5-3 degrees if optimum for hard hills driving, and thru the hills, it wears the tyres evenly, but if you were to daily drive it, on purely straight corners, maybe 1.5-2 degrees

and remember, toe is what kills your inner edge of your tyres, not so much the camber setting
