The Bilstiens are the best option if you can be bothered going down that road. They are an exceptional mono tube design and have a much larger piston than the other 2 options. The Tiens come in at 2nd and the HSD at 3rd.

It basically comes down to how much have you got to spend and how much time do you want to put into it? The HSD are by far the cheapest and you can easily get them in Australia.

The Teins are a tad harder to come by as they are for the most part ex-Japan at present as no one wants to keep them in stock due to the exchange rate.

Bilstien leaves you a few options, you can either get the stock A80 supra struts from Toyota, or go to a suspension dealer and get the Soarer specific struts ordered in. They are a bit more expensive than the oem variants but can be ordered in what ever valving you want and have a larger piston again. If going down this path you will also need to source a set of the coilover sleeves and coilover springs as well to get you on your way. Its a bit more messing around, but imho one of the best setups you will be able to get, and it is 100% customisable/modular should the need arise.
