Grant,
Hope things are well :-)

My personal experience with adjustable shocks;

Find a nice small speed bump to test settings.

Aim for a clean rebound which is where the shocks will perform best in comparison to the spring weight.

Too high a setting will make the car unstable and uncomfortable over uneasy surfaces. Also multiplies traction issues over uneven surfaces and wears the shock quicker.

Too low a setting will let the springs oscillate and bottom out too easily. Makes for a bouncy ride.

Don't drop the ride height too far, just causes problems with travel.

An easy test; when the shock is matched you will hear but barely feel going over lane divider / reflectors for example. With a stiff shock you'll know all about it.

I haven't personally tried the HA's in my own car, but they're very common and im sure someone willing to part with some tips has tried them on the track. I've driven a number of soarer's with coilovers and they've almost always been much too stiff for a street car. HA's are generally quite nicely matched if im not mistaken.
