Simon, as suggested new (lower) springs and a pair of new shocks- it's not advisable to replace a single shock. I've recently put four Boges on ours, from memory $135 ea., they're made in Japan. Fulcrum's price was pretty high and I ended up getting through Repco. Price might have gone up somewhat given the dollar dive.
The Boges give a nice ride, and certainly a lot better control than originals with 175k km up. Part nos available off Boge web page (PDF file- comes up with Lexus and Soarer from memory).
