2 years ago I spent about $4.5k having the shocks/struts/rebuilt and strengthened Better than New by Peter T and about $1750 on Vlamos bushes most of which I did not need -bushes i.e. Then about $2k on labour.You could probably rebuild the struts for about $900 plus labour however if the struts are not 100% perfect you have wasted your money ( Given the high pressures struts operate under they are unlikely to be perfect )
A parts and labour recon will do next time however these original struts were 18 years old.
With new suspension in your 32 you won't find a better Grand Touring handling/driving experience anywhere else especially if you supercharge it which is on my list.
