Provided you are within the tyre manufactures specifications you will be ok. I think you will find that you will be needing at least a 245 on the front and 275 on the rear to suit those width rims.

If this was true then why did tyre manufactures make the recent tyre molds for the likes of the AD08 wider so that a 245 tyre was actually slightly wider and able to fit on a wider rim than a 245 normally would.

Seems like a counter response to idiots fitting too narrow tyres to wide rims.
