Depends what you want really, air bag suspension is the softest suspension option.

Standard JZZ30, JZZ31 and UZZ30 coils spring rate is 7.4kg/mm up front and 3.0-3.6km/mm at the rear.

UZZ31 air shocks are considerably softer. When new specs are:

"Norm"
Front - 4.1kg/mm
Rear - 1.8kg/mm

"Sport"
Front - 6.3kg/mm
Rear - 2.7kg/mm

Tim, I think they could be serviced if someone was keen enough. From what I can see it's a harder job than UZZ32 strut work.

Seems the bag is crimped on in two places and the strut itself quite a unique design with additional parts welded on so the bag can attach.

Whether or not the air shock itself can be replaced is questionable, you would need to do some welding and that would stuff a new shock, so I'd say dismantling and rebuilding the old shocks would be the only way.
