Hi guys,

I'm currently having a little problem in the Celsior's shifting.

Sometimes the trc light in the middle of the dash pops up. When it does, the celsior seems to have problems shifting down when I put the foot down on the accelerator. Instead of shifting down, it seems to stay at around 2000 rpm. For the most part, it still seems to be fine when accelerating from still, so the problem is only when the car has already got some speed. This only happens when the trc light is on.

I've just had both my solenoids replaced because the No.2 solenoid was buggered (Got codes 63 and 67 from diagnostics). Therefore, the trc problem was already there before I needed to replace the solenoids. The guys who changed the solenoids did say that sometimes the 67 diagnostic code comes up because of the solenoids. (On a side note, does $450 sound like a reasonable price to have paid for the two solenoids replacement and fitting?)

I ran diagnostics again and i got 67 (O/D direct clutch speed sensor). Would the problem be a transmission problem, or something to do with the TRC??? I don't really want to waste money getting the transmission checked if its a TRC problem, or vice-versa.

Thanks,
Matt
