Happened to me when my car first arrived, charged the battery (dead battery should have been a good indication) and after driving it around for the day those lights started coming on at idle. I had the alternator rebuilt and now all is fine. I should add that I took a voltmeter and I could watch the voltage at the battery drop while idling...
