LOL you own a 1jz and you call a 1uz thristy?
The 1uz just purs along effortlessly, where if the 1jz isnt under boost its a dead as a door knob. I own both and I can tell you tha tI pump twice as much fuel into the soarer just cruising around. And giving it a thrashing, it just sucks it down 3times quicker then the 1uz.
On the highway is probably the only time I would see the 1jz getting better fuel. But in saying that its not as relaxing as the heavy soarers dont hold speed to well at the sight of any incline and you have to keep changing your foot position to maintain road speed. And we all know cruise control makes fuel economy even worse.
