Hi Tref, Hope you have a spare $1000 because it sounds exactly the same as mine has done and it is a blown head gasket. After finding my problem it came to light that that is the weakest part of a soarer and they will all go at between 80-150K. Mine is an 1988 with a 7M GTEV motor which a club member Neil Griffiths helped me with by telling me to go to Repco and get a VRS set for an MA70 Supra.. Total cost including new head bolts about $420.00 plus your labour of about 7 hours. Have fun. Robin
