Hi guys. my TT started smoking lightish blue smoke a couple of years ago but normally only on start up from cold. However it has gotten worse of late and today it's quite noticable. I have read that changing the oil can help. I'm only using a mineral based oil (ie not synthetic) so that might be making it worse (EXTREMELY short on funds)but I'm worried that the poor old engine (instruments say 160,000 k's but of course, that means nothing) is on it's way out. I've had the car 8 years so know that the last 80,000 k's are genuine. Any suggestions (apart from deep sixing the car)?
