Depends on what model Soarer you have and what options it came with as to exactly what it does. Use the "Search" function to see what others have said about it in the past. At a minimum on all models it will allow you to lock the transmission into 2nd gear from a standing start (so starting in 2nd it will really start in 2nd), apart from that it will also transmission behaviour on downshift/upshift/kickdown (holding gears to higher RPM) and if you have TEMS it can firm up the ride.
