If it's just coming up as brake error and no ABS error then it could just be the brake fluid level sensor. If you check the level and it looks fine then just unplug the sensor at the local connector block and see how you go. If all ok then it's your sensor which needs fixing and there's a procedure on the forum if you do a 'search'.
