Hi Everyone,

I need to replace the whole dash; from my brown to black to complete my conversion.

However, I have no time to even try to follow the DIY write up as I am swarmed with work, uni and life in general.

Does anyone know which workshop/trustworthy person in Brisbane has done this before?

I already have the black dash.

Jason, taking the dash out will take a 1st timer almost the whole day..if not more..you are looking for a large bill if you get a workshop to do it...

if you don't have the time to do it yourself just paint it in-place with VHT dye, just pull the parts around it, drop sheet and mask off the rest of the car and make sure you do a really good prep job on it.

Painting is not an option. I already have the black dash ready to go in.

I know its a tedious activity, hence the question... getting the workshop to do it is not justified as its not really mechanical work but still needs attention to detail, skill and patience.

That is also why I asked if anyone knew of any place that did one before for whatever reason (re-trimming, repairs, etc.) as they will do it more efficiently without wasting time figuring out what to do next...

there are mobs that specialize in dash removal and re fit but i would guess that you would be looking at something $1000 by the time its all said and done.

At *least* $1,000.

I wouldn't trust anyone to do it, as they wouldn't care about if it creaks and rattles when it's back in, or what they break because they know you won't be going back in to take a look.
