There is a switch on the left side of my steering wheel below the interior temperature sensor. I cannot get the picture to upload, but it kind of has this " (0) " for one position and OFF in the other position.
I have been playing with it since I got the car, and it doesn't fire the rockets, or eject the passenger. I cannot feel a performance difference. What does the switch control?

Might be to control either the interior air filter (if you have one) or the indicator pole at front left or rear left of the car?

The interior air filter switch is on the lower part of the drivers dash and it is a little wheel.

Off 1 2 Auto

The aur purifier is a piece of junk though. Makes a whirring sounds when it's on, and leaving it on Auto just makes it run all day long.

Plus the filters are like $300 from Toyota.
