How do you detach the muffler from this rubbery thing? Need help as soon as possible please.

I'm no expert, Michael, but I believe it just pulls out- it's a pin through a large rubber grommet.

just get a pry bar or big screw driver and pry it off.. usually they a tight fit so they don't fall out with all the strenuous activity ;-)

Spray WD40 in the rubber hanger, and get a pair of thin pliers. Jam the pliers between the rubber and the metal hanger on the muffler, and lever the pliers so it pushes the rubber away.
