I saw a clean caramel coloured looking Aristo the other day, here in Canberra. Turn off before I could get a closer look.

But from what I could see it was slammed (wheels inside the guards), red front and rear calipers (looked like Supra ones..?), after-market exhaust.

That is all.. =)

They're quoted at 1680kg

Only come in auto as far as i know, but that isn't really a hardship with the massive torque from the 2jz-gte.
Im sure it wouldn't be hard to do a manual conversion, but for now I don't intend to go down that road with mine (6spd would be nice tho....)

Inside, the dash and console is similar to a celsior, ie: very toyota and a little dated, (but then so is the Soarer) - and of course very comfy and well specced - very luxo!

Outside they are pretty discrete, look a bit like an A32 Maxima/cefiro (you guys get them in oz?)which is great as it blends in to the traffic and draws no unwanted attention (just another family sedan at a glance)
Having said that, they're only a set of tints and rims away from looking really sharp - they're still a very classy looking car

I havn't really thrown mine around yet (a bit pointless without an LSD!) so trac stays on, but it does handle well and drives nicely.

They are very similar to a Soarer to own and drive - bit more weight, bit more grunt and couple more doors!

Callum, Personally I didn't like the style of the Aristo that much, but needed four doors, so went for a JZX100 Chaser instead.

(I hope your treating my old soarer well).

Oh come on, how can you pass up that fantastic cup holder?

...and honestly, i dont think i am treating her too well =( Things keep breaking! I'm not welcoming the bill for new coil packs thats for sure.

I have managed to find a job that allows me to catch the train to the city though, so the money pit (what i call my significant other) is going to wait it out in the garage during the week.
