Hey hey, I'm after a set of headlights for a 1991 V8 Soarer. I've got leaking problems.

If anyone has any on hand get back to me. Not looking to spend a fortune.

Hey thanks Dave, that's pretty handy. Appreciate it. Will give it a go. Only problem I have is that the lenses are yellowed probably from the inside. Will still give it a shot! Thanks.

Hey Randy, I use Mr Buff by septone to restore my lights to white all the time, about every 6 mths I go over them with a drill buffing pad and Mr Buff by Septone (I buy it from Supercheap) and they are fine.

Once you get moisture inside the problem is that the chrome surfacing gets mottely/corroded.
I pulled one my lights apart recently with a heat gun and great care and the cleaned it up inside and out and it is now pretty well like new. No leaks and looking great.

I think that if yours is corroded inside then maybe that chrome paint (about $30 a pressure pack can) could be the answer??

It gives me a great feeling when I can fix something without having to replace it, just a personal thing and probably not ever practical in many cases, but fun :-)
