Recently I had me JZZ30 up on stands with all the wheels off doing a heap of stuff. One thing being a full brake fluid change (rear brakes had over 4inches of air on both sides and fronts had 1-2inches each - no wonder the brakes warning message kept comin up!)
While doing this, I noticed that I'm probably going to be up for new ball joints top and bottom on front and definitly bottom on rear. If i change these, i guess it means I'll have to do bushes too (of course).
Question 1: Would it be easier and possibly cheaper to get a set of contol arms made and therefore have the abolity to, in the future, replace ball joints only? I've seen it done on cars at motor shows. If I was to do this, are the front control arm specs the same for all models of Soarer?
Image (example only - these arms designed for Mopars)
Also, next - Has anyone ever needed to change their front wheel bearing before? I've done it once on a Holden Gemini but I'm guessing this might be a bit harder...
