oh yeah, its Tien coilover apparently. Adjust something (dampening?) from under the bonnet and boot, and adjust something else (height?) from under the wheel arches. Does this sound right? Cheers.

the only 3 ways to harden it up are: Adjust the preload on the spring, but can only be done on base height models, not just spring platform height models Get them revalved by fulcrum, might be 300 per shock inc freight Or put heavier rate springs in it, we sell all brands of spring inc tein, they are $110 each roughly

Sorry to revive an old post, but this thread just seemed to be relevant to my question without starting a new one. I've been wanting to lower my car for a while now and realised when I got my rims changed that I had Tein HR coilovers installed. From what I could find on the net, these are not height adjustable, so to lower the car I would need to just change the springs? I don't know much about suspension, so if anyone could provide me with info on these coilovers I have and what would be the best way to go about lowering the car. I'm not interested in making them harder, they seem stiff enough. Cheers.

I've read the same about the HR's from a good source so I believe they should be height adjustable. Any ideas where to get a c-spanner from? or would any good suspension shop be able to adjust these?

Cheers Kyle, do you know how low you can adjust Tein coilovers to sit? If you look at my profile pic, thats how its sitting at the moment and I would like it lowered about 1 or 2 more inches. Would adjusting the coilovers get to my desired height or would I maybe be better off with changing the springs?
You can drop it down a little more than that Mark - have a look at my TT in my profile - that can even go down a little further - that has Teins under it.
Kyle - you only need the one C Spanner to drop the Teins - you're welcom to borrow mine if I can find it!
