Hi guys,

I need to run spacers on my car to clear the brakes.

Basiclly i will also need to extend the length of the studs.

Does anyone know where I can get replacement studs.

I have found these on ebay, but not sure if they would suit the soarer.

Can anyone shine some light on this matter?

Thank you

You can get them from repco so I would think any decent parts shop would be able to supply, about $5.00 each I think from memory, had them when I ran hubcentric spacers to clear 4 pots but have new rims with brembo clearence now, still have the spacers somewhere if your interested.

Thanks Nik, Am interested in your spacers, let me know what thickness and how much your looking for.

Are they a generic kind of part does anyone know??

Do I just walk into repco and say I need wheel studs to suit a toyota atleast "x" length?

Thanks :-)

Nik,

You entitled to ask what you want for them, But it is possible to get them cheaper brand new,

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MITSUBISHI-EVO-MX6-FORD-WHEEL-HUB-SPACERS-15mm-5X114-3_W0QQitemZ360227970195Q QcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item53df429c93

And they are the design that also bolt on and have extension bolts.

Taking that into consideration would you take $80 posted?

I understand if you just want to hang on to them tho.

Failing that, I will just get some from ebay.

Dave, I will hang on to them for that, never know when they might come in handy, with the ebay ones you will need a centre bore of 60.1mm, these are 60.1mm centre and outside 70.5mm, I had a poly hub ring on that to bring it up to the 73mm for the rims I had at the time.
Pretty sure repco had the standard and longer stud length listed.
Cheers Nik

Indeed, those ebay ones will bolt on, but will be unsafe as all the weight of the car and cornering forces will be placed on the studs.
